One of the most important attributes for our volunteers is to have an open mind and to always act with respect towards the Cambodian culture and customs. We truly believe that in doing this, you will make the most out of your volunteer placement.

The first step in the process is to complete the application form below with as much information as possible. Our Communications Officer will then be in touch with further information on your prospective placement; if your skills and our goals align, we will then host a 1 on 1 call with you via Zoom.

Placements are not guaranteed and will strongly depend on our programs needs at the time. Prior to being approved, all volunteers will be required to provide our team with a current police check and/or working with children check. It is a requirement that all in-country volunteer also purchase and provide REACH with a copy of their travel insurance.

Volunteers at REACH are also asked to make a donation of AUD$450 towards our cause. These funds are vital in enabling us to pay our local team to sustain our programs. This one-off contribution also assists to cover the costs of coordinating your experience with us. Once your placement is accepted, you will have ongoing correspondence and support in the lead up to your arrival, and throughout your time with us in Siem Reap.

If you are unable to fund this personally, we encourage you to set-up a fundraising page and rally support from your friends and familiy. If this sounds like a suitable option, please let us know as we're here to help!

PLEASE NOTE:

With child protection being our top priority, it is essential that all volunteers provide references, current criminal background checks, adhere to our child protection policy and code of conduct.
