We are Dan Copsey and Amanda Champion (Team Co-Champ), and we are so proud to be lacing up for Ride to REACH in 2023!
Cambodia is a country cruelled by poverty, yet its population is among the kindest you will meet. It is truly humbling to witness the resilience and generosity of kids in the REACH programs despite their dire situation. We have never seen people more deserving of life’s necessities, like food and education, that we take for granted – necessities the REACH programs help to provide.
Amanda has been a keen triathlete, so she is pumped to get stuck into Ride to REACH after an injury-induced stint on the sidelines. On the flip side, Ride to REACH will be Dan’s first fitness event for charity, and he couldn’t dream of a more rewarding debut.
Dan’s connection with REACH stems from his time at university, where he met good mate Emily Williamson (REACH’s Founding Director). Inspired by Emily realising her vision for change, Dan is now honoured to be joining REACH as a member of the Advisory Board. Eager to take REACH to new heights, he’s practicing what he preaches, teaming up with Amanda to target a whopping $10,000 in donations.
Ride to REACH is such a unique event that allows you to witness first-hand the difference your donations make. The chance to ride alongside the families whose lives REACH is changing is something we will cherish.
We implore you to get behind us as we ride 650km to help REACH lift children and their families out of poverty. All donations make a difference. You’d be hard pressed to find a more impactful charity, or families more worthy of our support.
