My name is Sorn Sereyvuth (Chen). I was born in Siem Reap province and I have 5 brothers. When I was 5 years old, my father moved to Phnom Penh, and my mother raised us alone. Thanks to her efforts, I finished high school successfully.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have money to enroll at university, so I started to work as a waiter. However, I lost my job due to the low season. So, I began to work as a taxi driver. But it was hard to go to University with the money I earned.
In 2009, I was so happy when I got married, but shortly after, my mother passed away. I now have two wonderful children and I want to make a good life for them.
Fortunately, Emily invited me to join the team at REACH. I’m really happy to work with the team and to help the local community.
