Three Years at Reach Siem Reap

As my three-year journey with REACH Siem Reap comes to a close, I’m filled with gratitude and pride for what the organisation has collectively achieved. A Day at the Angkor Botanical Garden: When Learning Happens Beyond the Classroom

EDU Green Room Outdoor Education Activity

In May, our Green Room students had the incredible opportunity to spend a day at the Angkor Botanical Garden. For many of our student, this wasn’t just a school outing – it was their very first adventure outside the classroom with their friends and their teacher, Sopheak. For a lot of them it was their first time on a bus or even leaving their village for an adventure. This excursion for our young learners making this experience truly novel and exciting. It was a day filled with smiles, discoveries, and pure wonder.

The Power of Teachers Training Teachers

We actively seek opportunities for our teachers to engage in external training. Partnerships with organizations like the Teachers Development Support Organization (TDSO) and Online Courses Australia (OCA) provide our teachers with access to specialized training and topics. These external trainings broaden our teachers’ perspectives and equip them with the latest knowledge and skills to excel in their roles.

Additionally, through our Placements Program, we’re very fortunate to have volunteers with diverse backgrounds visit us and offer their support by sharing their skills and experience with our team.

We’re launching a new shared experience.
