Hello! My name is San Menea. I’m a placement assistant. I’m 18 Years old. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister. I was born in Chikreang District, Siem Reap Province.
In 2010, my family moved to Siem Reap City to find work and earn money. My Parents never motivate me to stop studying even though my family is poor. They try their best to get me to finish high school.
Currently, I and my family are live in Mondul 3 Village. My mother is a cleaner at REACH NGO, and my father is a Tuk Tuk driver.
I remembered the first time that my family come to live in Siem Reap Province . We didn’t have any house to live at there. My parents rent one room to live and work so hard to earn money and get me and my family to study. Even though I was only 5 years old, but I still remember everything at that time.
Right now, My livelihood is better than before because My parents work very hard and also my sibling are graduate in grade 12 and get work. As my mother is a cleaner at REACH NGO, Reach allow the staff’s child to enrolled at Reach so I have such as a great opportunity to join Reach as a Youth Pathway students in 2024.This program is new to me because I don’t have friend at there but I have learned a lot from this program.
I graduated high school in 2025 from 10 January 1979 high school, and I have plan to go to USEA university for IT major. After I graduated in grade 12, I have a chance from REACH NGO to be staff at there for 1 year to learn and to experiences how to work.
While I’m working at there, I learn many new things. I learn how to communicate with volunteer and also how to make good communicate with team work. I’m really happy to have a chance to work and learn new things at there.
