Sean is sponsoring rider #10 to cycle 200kms in 2 days in Cambodia.
My name is Sean, for those who don't know I have developed a bit of habit in my life of trying to give back at the start of the year. For me, like many others, I get to spend the festive period with my family and friends surrounded by food, warmth, and care. For many in the world life is not quite so easy. I was lucky enough to be born into a country which, even if you are in the toughest situation in your life you are still looked after. My focus has never been on helping and supporting the countries or people that are already supported very well but those whose lives are very different. So, each year I take to the peddles to try and ride to support.
This year we have the obvious challenges ahead of us, but thanks to the initiatives of the Reach team I am still able to support albeit from the room of my quarantine in Singapore. I have headed back to the UK this Xmas and will spend 4 weeks back with my family but on my return, I have to quarantine for two weeks in the hotel which are the dates that the ride is happening. I am going to be riding but rather on an exercise bike from my room to ensure I still support the cause.
If you are able to support it would be very much appreciated. The challenge in Cambodia is so much more significant than any of us in our developed countries would ever get to experience so please do your part to support a very worthwhile cause.
Thanks again for supporting me each and every year. I know I always ask each and every one of you each year but no matter how hard our life is we can always do our best to support others that are in dire need.
