$3,394.00 raised of $6,800.00 goal
REACH Siem Reap, is a locally registered Cambodian NGO offering a variety of strategically crafted, comprehensive free programs to hundreds of disadvantaged children, youth and families in the community.
After months of preparation, REACH opened in March and welcomed the first intake of 200 very enthusiastic students and their families. Unfortunately only 4 days later, due to the Covid-19 virus, the government ordered all schools to be closed. In addition to closure of schools, many hardworking parents that were already living in dire poverty, have lost their livelihoods overnight as a direct result of the pandemic. With no social services or welfare available in Cambodia, the loss of employment is dire, those without work are without the means to pay for basic necessities to survive.
As a result, REACH's focus has switched to providing emergency relief packages on a monthly basis to continue supporting the basic needs of the families.
All donations go towards keeping REACH operating and keeping the beautiful families and children supported during such a difficult time.
