My name is Darron Gurney and I am from the United States. I have lived in Siem Reap off and on for the past few years and during my amazing time there I have developed a passion for supporting amazing NGOs (non government organizations) like REACH Siem Reap.

I am thrilled to be sponsoring a student from REACH in their annual Side-by-Side event. This special event will raise much needed funds to support various programs for the students, preparing them with life-skills to gain fair employment, and to break longstanding cycles of poverty within their family. Through it’s work in providing programs centered around education, health & nutrition, computer literacy and many more to some of Siem Reap’s poorest students and their families, REACH aims to ensure that the needs of each child and their family are met, so that they can effectively break free from poverty, in a productive and lasting way. I have committed to raising $500 USD to support my sponsored student and the programs provided by REACH.

2021 has been another challenging year for a lot of people and I know times are still tough out there. But if you are in a giving mood and looking for a feel good deed, I happily invite you to support my fundraiser. Every dollar raised will go towards all of the REACH programs that are supporting their amazing students and their families and to ensuring my sponsored student has a safe and fun ride. No matter what size of the donation, it will make a huge difference in the lives of these students.
