$1,992.00raised of $1,900.00 goal

104% funded

It has been 19 months that schools in Cambodia have been closed as a result of the pandemic. With high vaccination rates, the government is now preparing to reopen schools. For REACH students to return to their government school and succeed in breaking the poverty cycle, they require basic school resources. These basic supplies incur additional fees that most parents are unable to fund. Students must have a school uniform and their own stationery sets to attend their classes and complete their assignments. But for REACH families who have suffered huge financial losses since losing their jobs during Covid, putting food on the table takes priority over school supplies.

As many of you know, I spent over a year in Cambodia experiencing everything it had to offer, from the beautiful countryside, culture and the people! It really did change my outlook on life. I am (with the help of you) hoping to raise as much money as possible for REACH Siem Reap, a charity that is at the forefront of making a difference in Cambodia. They provide integrated programs for impoverished children, and families, to break longstanding cycles of poverty.

My aim is to cycle as many kms as I can in the month of October and raise £1 for every km.

I hope to raise at least £1000 ($1900AUD) so that 100 children from the ages of 5 to 18 years can return to their public school with back to school kits.

Each back to school kit will include:

-A brand new public school uniform
- A pencil case with pens, pencils a ruler & eraser
- Graph books for all of their classes

With the current climate in Cambodia, REACH is not certain when public schools will be given the green light to reopen, but they want to have supplies on standby so no child goes without.

If I exceed my target, REACH will be able to allocate additional funds to purchasing teenagers sports uniforms and school shoes too!

Donate today to help a child continue their education.

Rest assured, every £1 will go far in helping these families!
