My name is UT Pay, and I was born in Kralanh District, Siem Reap Province. My Parents are farmers, but I always stayed with my younger brother at home.
My childhood was very lonely since I barely had time with my parents. In 2018, I received support from an NGO called CWCC. I was lucky to have their support and motivate me. I came to study in the Better Future Program at JWOC. I learned the subjects such as Computers, and English.
After graduating, I received the opportunity to intern at REACH. I enjoyed activities with Children. After I finished interning, I got another chance to work at REACH as a Youth Leader.
The life of a child from a rural area like mine is very common in Cambodia. But not everyone gets support from an environment. I’m so glad to be a part of this changemaker group.
