Booking
Bookings are to be made only via the Reach website registration booking form. Once your booking is received
and confirmed, you will be sent instructions for deposit payment processing. At this stage we will also provide you
with Ride Info Pack & Fundraising Guide, as well as inclusion on our closed-group social media sites.
Payment (* see our Risk Free Booking Policy below)
Once you receive your confirmation, you will be required to pay a 25% deposit within 3 days. This process will
secure your place on the ride and allow us to create your fundraising page on our site. Full balance of payment
will be required no later than 90 days prior to tour commencement. Reach will hold these payments in trust, until
tour operator is appointed, and final payments are made.
Note: All tour fees are calculated and paid in USD$.
Tour Inclusions
Your tour fees include: 10 nights accommodation, all meals (except lunch and dinner on the rest day), bicycle &
equipment hire, tour guides, bicycle mechanics, support vehicles, snacks & water stops, 1 x lycra riding jersey, 1 x
T-shirt, ,1 x buff, 1 x arm sleeves, 1 free-flow gala dinner, professional footage & a life-time of free volunteering at
REACH.
Exclusions
Airfares, Airport transfers, additional optional tours, Insurance (compulsory) or medical cover, hotel extras and
alcohol.
Cancellation Policy (* Risk Free Booking Policy)
By us:
In the event that we cancel a trip completely, notification will be given no less than 90 days before the departure
date of the trip, and we will return all money paid for the tour cost. We are not liable for any other money paid,
including flight ticket or extended accommodation purchases.
By you: (* Risk Free Booking Policy)
If for any reason, you need to cancel your tour with us, as long as it is more than 90 days from tour
commencement, we will provide a full refund of all money paid. If cancelation is made within 60 days of tour
commencement, any money paid will be forfeited. In certain instances, we may be able to offer your place to
a replacement guest of your choosing, however, this will need to be assessed on an individual case basis and
subject to conditions.
Helmets
It is required that a bicycle helmet be worn by all cyclists when riding a bicycle throughout our bicycle tour. Failure
to wear a helmet will result in the rider not being allowed to cycle as a part of the tour program.
Itineraries
We reserve the right to change the itineraries before or during a tour in the interests of safety resulting from war,
disease, natural disasters, safety, or changed local conditions. The tour leader or guide during a tour has the right
to make any necessary changes to the itinerary for the reasons listed. Any client not adhering to changes made
for these reasons will be deemed to have left the tour and is no longer under our care or responsibility.
Insurance
It is a condition of participating in our Reach ride that each traveler holds travel insurance for the duration of the
tour. Insurance must include comprehensive medical and emergency evacuation. Your travel insurance details
will be checked by your Group Leader on arrival at the starting point hotel.
Personal Responsibility
Due to the nature of the style and locations that our rides operate in, Reach and their tour operator do not accept
responsibility for any loss, injury, illness, damage, accident, fatality, delay or inconvenience experienced from time
of departure to time of return arising out of this organised tour.
Bikes & Equipment Liability: Any loss or damage to bikes or other tour equipment, resulting from improper use
and/or failure to follow instructions with regards to safety and operation, will be charged to the customer to the
equivalent value of the repair or replacement costs.
PRIVACY STATEMENT
As part of the booking process, we may require additional information (flights, airport pick-up, hotel bookings,
permits, clothing sizes etc) to assist with your tour.
