Kindergarten Teacher

Pin Sreypov

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Pin Sreypov. I’m originally from Siem Reap and now I’m 26 years old. I’m the youngest sister of the five siblings, with one brother and four sisters. We are already married and moved to another house with our families. There are currently five people in my family, including my parents. I have a daughter who is nearly 4 years old and attends a kindergarten public school.

I’m now enrolled in year two, semester two, at Build Bright University, and my major is Teaching English as Foreign Language (TEFL). Before attending university, I studied at and graduated from Angkor High School. I got a D after completing my exam. In high school, I studied at a local non-profit organization that assists and supports low-income people. I would not have been able to speak English or able to become a teacher if I hadn’t had an opportunity to join that NGO. It was a great opportunity for my life. I would like to thank my professors and the principal who were working hard to fight against poverty. I made the decision to join Reach because I want to being grateful to the organization that helped me when I was young and want to participate in social activities as well. I wish to impart my expertise to the coming generation, and especially orphans and underprivileged kids. No matter your financial situation, everyone should have access to education.

I’ve been working as a kindergarten teacher at Reach since September 2022. Before I worked at Reach, I used to work at other private schools and an organization as well. I started working as a kindergarten teacher after I graduated from high school. Additionally, I used to be a teaching assistant at another private school for 1 year.

My habits are reading the Khmer and English novels and watching the English short films. Additionally, I like having a picnic with my family or going for a walk with my husband and Panha.

I’m satisfied to work at Reach and strongly committed to using my knowledge to support the children who are from families in need in my community and do whatever is necessary to accomplish Reach’s mission.
